CARDIOVASCULAR IMAGING
The University of Miami ODIC offers a full range of cardiac imaging applications including the evaluation of myocardial infarction, left and right ventricular function, cardiac masses, congential heart diseases, and more. In addition, aortic and thoracic vascular diseases are evaluated with both anatomic and MR angiographic techniques. The studies are directed and reviewed by both radiologists and cardiologists experienced in MR imaging, insuring maximal clinical utility.
MUSCULOSKELETAL IMAGING
The University of Miami ODIC offers a full range of magnetic resonance imaging studies of bone, joint and soft tissue structures. All studies are interpreted by University of Miami faculty radiologists who specialize in the study of musculoskeletal diseases. MR applications include imaging of sports-related injuries, cartilage imaging, and tumor imaging. State-of-the-art MR systems, including the 3 Tesla Siemens Trio allow for exquisite anatomic detail.
NEUROLOGICAL IMAGING
The University of Miami ODIC neuroradiologists are experts in the interpretation of neuroimaging studies of the brain, neck, and spine. Applications include magnetic resonance angiography, magnetic resonance spectroscopy, cerebrospinal fluid flow studies, neurography and other advanced applications in MR.
ULTRASOUND/VASCULAR IMAGING
The University of Miami ODIC radiologists are specialists in ultrasound and vascular sonography. Our sonographer has over 14 years of experience and is RDMS and RVT certified. Our exams include sonographic evaluation of the abdomen, pelvis, kidneys, the musculoskeletal system, and the vascular system including carotids, peripheral arteries, veins, and intra-abdominal vessels.
